My trip to Mill Creek Falls was amazing! I went with my friend Noah, and we ran around like crazy people in the rain. Since we are both photo junkies we ended up with way too many photos....but some of them turned out nicely.

These are some photos I took through out the day in my apartment. I have this great stained glass window that the light comes through in early morning.....I love it! I have some vases and cool glass balls that sit on the shelf by it. This was a view from below the window.

Tree to free my creative block

Well it's been a few day, grrrr I need to get that internet set up at my house so I can just post regularly from home. I am having a creative block today......so I am going to go back to my drawing palette, I have this cool tree that I have been sketching a lot recently. Maybe it's a sign. That will be my next post, a tree.....

So this weird half done sketch is my worst nightmare. I work in the service industry.....this is giant dishware....anyways I think you get the picture.

This is a really bad attempt at piecing 3 different photos together....um just messing around with characters based on me for a class project. One of my many jobs is working at a video store!!! Yipee

I have been thinking about altering orchids for a long time I just never got around to it. In this photo I overlayed my face in the center and played with opacity and colors.....kinda trippee!

Okay.....so it's a new year and I have cold =) YIPEEEEE! This is my last quarter at SOU and I am very excited. Now it is job hunting time! For this last quarter I am working on a pre-production/concept art class. The goal of joining this class is to help bulk up my portfolio. I want to let loose in this class and really get creative. I saw Avatar last week....AMAZING! and anyways it has my creative juices flowing. The way that Cameron used the underwater world to inspire his new jungle was absolutely jaw dropping. Anyways, enough about that. I have decided that I will now update my blog daily.....gaaaah but I think it is a good goal to have. Well until tomorrow then!
